40 FT CONEX CONTAINER AND CHASSIS (HXYAAA7279V788 (FTWCONTCHASSIS)) One each 40 Foot Conex Container on Chassiss. Estimated dimensions are 40 ft long x 8 ft wide. This was originally an ocean containers but has been used as a storage trailer. Overall condition of the container is fair. The swing doors are in working order. The age of the container and the chassis is unknown. We cannot make out the VIN on the Fruehauf chassis so therefore no SF97 can be issued. We do not know whether the lights, brakes, etc. are functioning. We do not know if the chassis is road worthy and should be carefully inspected before attempting to move it off base.. Base security applies. Do not attempt to gain access to the base if you cannot pass a criminal background check. Please discuss base entry procedures before attempting to get on base. You must bring drivers license, proof of insurance, and registration to get on base property. Everyone involved in the removal of the container must be able to pass a criminal background check. Containers are sold as is where is and may contain defects not immediately detectable. They are described to the best of our knowledge and there is no guarantee that all defects are listed. Your pre-bid inspection is invited, encouraged, and cautioned. LOT OF 3 CONEX CONTAINERS STORAGE (HXYAAA7279V787 (FTWAINCONTS)) One lot consisting of three 40 Foot Conex Containers. Estimated dimensions are 40 ft long x 8 ft wide. These were originally ocean containers but have been used as storage containers. Overall condition of the containers is fair. The swing doors are in working order. We do not know the serial numbers of the containers. We have included photos of the areas that the containers are sitting so you can access to determine how you will get them moved. The green container is a 1995 and the prior Evergreen container number was EMCU238814. The orange container is a 1988 and the prior Hapag Lloyd container number is HLCU4011898. The age of the white container is unknown. Its an old Sealand container and the prior container number is unknown. The successful bidder must provide all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to move and load these containers. AAFES cannot assist in this process or provide any equipment or tools. All work done to remove the containers must be accomplished in a safe manner and in compliance with any applicable codes or regulations. Only the containers are included.
