40 FT CONEX CONTAINER (HXYAAA1013E102 (GUAMCONEX)) One 40 Foot Conex Container. Estimated dimensions are 40 ft long x 8 ft wide x 8 ft 6 in tall. This is for container only without chassis. This was originally a refrigerated ocean container but has been used as storage containers for an unknown number of years. Overall condition of the containers is fair to poor. It has areas that are rusted and we do not have a way to see what it looks like underneath. We do not have a way to test the lights. We have no way to test the refer or even to know what part of the system is even still there. Anything seen inside the container has been removed since photos were taken. This container is located in a tight spot but we can move the one container that has it blocked in. It is highly recommended that you review this before bidding. Buyer of container should consider it a storage unit not one that is road worthy. The successful bidder must provide all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to move and load this container. AAFES cannot assist in this process or provide any equipment or tools. All work done to remove the container must be accomplished in a safe manner and in compliance with any applicable codes or regulations. The VIN of this container is unknown therefore no title will be issued. Exact age of the container is unknown as we purchased it used in 1998. In addition to standard base security anyone seeking to gain entry to the base must wear a protective mask or you will not be granted access.
