The Department of the Interior (DOI), Office of Aviation Services (OAS), is selling to the highest bidder 12 unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and associated equipment. See the attached documents for descriptions and images. All the items will be sold as a single lot. The original manufacturer, Falcon Unmanned, is no longer in business to provide support for its products. Potential bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the aircraft and equipment prior to bidding. The aircraft and equipment will be available for inspection at the NIFC Warehouse, 1063 Boing St, Boise, ID 83705 for three days only, February 28, March 7, and March 21, from 8:00 – 11:30am and 1:00 – 4:00pm. Notes: (1) This aircraft and equipment will be sold as-is/where-is. (2) Special Notice.  This sale includes FLIR infrared (IR) cameras. These products are controlled for export under US Department of Commerce (DOC), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) 6A003.b.4.b. These cameras contain a focal plane array controlled to 6A002.a.3.f. U.S. Government authorization may be required for all destinations except Canada. (3) See the special sale terms and conditions for this auction that replace the standard GSA sale terms and conditions, especially those pertaining to payments and the removal of property. Payment by certified check or cashier’s check is due to the DOI’s Contracting Office in Boise, Idaho within 10 days after GSA’s electronic notification to the winning bidder. (4) Warning to purchaser/recipient: The aircraft you are purchasing are not airworthy and may not be in compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements. It is up to the purchaser/recipient to determine the airworthy condition of the aircraft. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the aircraft and equipment in person to verify what items are included with the sale.
